The following features are available in the commercial and US Government environments on the general availability dates. For additional technical information on the new functionality in this release, refer to the Release Notes.

General Updates

  • The following objects can now be created in bulk with your templates customized in Bulk creation templates:

    • Groups:

      • Microsoft 365 Groups

      • Security groups

      • Distribution groups

      • Mail-enabled security groups

    • Mailboxes:

      • User mailboxes

      • Shared mailboxes

      • Resource mailboxes

      • Mail users

      • Mail contacts

    • SharePoint Online sites

    • Teams

  • When the app profile configured for your tenant becomes invalid, messages now appear in your reports to assist with faster troubleshooting.

  • The Performed by filter in end-of-life reports has been optimized to support filtering data even after deletion.

  • The Performed via filter in the following modules’ end-of-life reports can now filter end-of-life actions performed via Microsoft native platforms.

    • Groups

    • SharePoint

    • Environments

    • Power Automate

    • Power Apps

    • Power BI

    • Copilot Studio

What’s New in Microsoft 365 Management?

  • The Microsoft 365 Workspaces report is now available as an integrated page to perform access and lifecycle management on the following object types in your organization:

    • Groups

    • Group team sites

    • SharePoint sites

    • Teams

  • Bulk editing is now supported for custom attributes of both mailboxes and Groups.

What’s New in Management Integrated with Cloud Governance?

  • Cloud Governance metadata can now be created via EnPower's Metadata module.

  • Cloud Governance properties and lifecycle management are now available for guest users in EnPower.

  • Renewal audits and metadata changes can now be checked and exported for:

    • Groups connected to Viva Engage communities

    • Power Pages sites

    • Loop workspaces

  • Cloud Governance metadata can now be applied to the following objects:

    • Archived Teams

    • Locked SharePoint Online sites

    • Groups connected to Viva Engage communities

    NOTE

    When metadata is applied to a locked site, the site will be unlocked until the process is complete.
