Export to PDFIn the Sensitivity report for Microsoft Teams, you can access two reports, including:
By default, the report tables display data across all your containers. To view data for specific containers, select the containers you want to view in the filter.
*Note: You must have a subscription to AvePoint Insights to access the sensitivity reports. If you would like to subscribe to Insights, contact your AvePoint account manager. For more information on Insights, see the .
In the High Sensitivity Report tab, you can either view the detailed report or apply actions to the files listed in the reports, including applying sensitivity labels, view access, and view activities. Refer to the sections below for details.
To apply sensitivity label, complete the following steps:
To apply the sensitivity label, select the file you want to apply the label to. Click Apply sensitivity label.
In the Apply sensitivity label panel, select the sensitivity label for the file.
Click Apply.
*Note: To apply sensitivity labels with encryption to files, your organization must have a subscription (or service principal) for the Azure Rights Management Services API. Also, make sure you have a custom Azure app with the ”Content.SuperUse” and ”Content.Write” permissions granted in or an Insights service app.
To view and manage permissions of the file with view access, complete the following steps:
Select the file you want to view access.
Click View access. If you cannot see the action on the ribbon, click the
to expand the action list.
On the View access page, to remove permissions, select the permissions you want to remove and click Remove permissions. The Sensitivity confirmation window appears.
In the sensitivity confirmation window, click Remove.
You can view what activities have been performed on the file with View activities.
Select the file you want to view activities.
Click View activities. If you cannot see the action on the ribbon, click the
to expand the action list.
On the View activities page, you can view the following information:
Activity time – The time of the activity.
IP address – The IP address of the user who performed the activity.
Username – The username of the user who performed the activity.
Activity – What activity has been performed.
Object ID – The ID of the object.
Item type – The type of the object.
More information – Other information.
To update the information on this page, click Refresh.
In the Broken inheritance report tab, you can either view the detailed broken inheritance report or apply actions to the listed objects, including applying sensitivity labels, view access, and view activities. Refer to the following sections for instructions.
To apply the sensitivity label, complete the following steps:
Select the object you want to apply the label to. Click Apply sensitivity label.
In the Apply sensitivity label panel, select the sensitivity label for the object.
Click Apply.

Username – The username of the user who performed the activity.
Activity – What activity has been performed.
Object ID – The ID of the object.
Item type – The type of the object.

To update the information on this page, click Refresh.
