Calling policies
Call hold policies
Call park policies
Caller ID policies
Emergency policies
Mobility policies
Voice routing policies
Voice mail policies
Voice applications policies
To manage each policy type, click the corresponding policy category on the left navigation pane and refer to the following sections on the management instructions.
To create a policy, complete the following steps:
In the corresponding policy page, click Create in the upper-right corner.
In the policy creation panel, complete the required configurations, including:
Name – Enter the name of the policy.
Description – Enter a description for the policy.
Tenant – Select the tenant to create the policy in.
Settings – Configure the required policy settings.
Click Save.
After the Global Policy is updated, you can reset the policy settings back to the default settings.
To reset the Global policy, complete the following steps:
Select the global policy.
Click Management > Reset Global policy on the ribbon.
In the Reset Global policy window, click Confirm.
To manage the policy’s user assignments, complete the following steps:
In the corresponding policy tab, select a policy.
The user assignment for Global (Org-wide default) policies cannot be updated.
Click Management > Manage users on the ribbon.
In the Manage users panel, to remove user assignment, select the user in the list and click Remove. To add user assignments click Add and search for users to add.
Click Apply.
For Calling policies, Call park policies, and Emergency policies, you can assign them to groups by creating group policy assignments in the Group policy assignment tabs under each policy.
To create a group policy assignment, complete the following steps:
In the Group policy assignment tab, click Add.
In the Assign policy to group panel, complete the following configurations:
Tenant – Select the tenant of the policy to assign.
Select a Group – Select a Group to assign the policy to.
Select rank – Select a rank. If users in this Group are part of any other Groups with a policy assigned, those users will inherit the policy from the Group with the highest rank.
Select a policy – Select the policy to assign to the Group.
Click Save.
You can create a new policy by duplicating an existing one. The duplicated policy retains the same settings as the original policy, and you can assign it to different users. To duplicate a policy, complete the following steps:
On the corresponding policy page, select a policy to duplicate.
Click Management > Duplicate on the ribbon.
In the Create duplicate policy panel, enter the name of the new policy.
Click Save.
