Export to PDFClick the display name of a Group to navigate to the Group details page, in the Owners tab, you can manage the owners of the group.
To add owners or members, complete the following steps:
In the Owners or Members tab, click Add in the ribbon.
In the Add owners or Add members panel, search for the owners to add by their names.
Click Save. This will take several minutes to synchronize the added owner to Microsoft. You can click Refresh to refresh the page and view the result.
To remove owners or members, complete the following steps:
In the Owners or Members tab, select the owners or members to remove.
Click Remove on the ribbon,
In the Remove window, click Remove.
There must be at least one owner in a Group, therefore you cannot remove all owners or remove the last owner in the Group.
Apart from adding owners or members by searching and selecting them in the user list in EnPower, you can add, remove, or replace the owners or members in a Group in bulk by importing a pre-configured CSV file.
To operate a bulk operation, complete the following steps:
In the Owners or Members tab, click Bulk operations on the ribbon and select the operation to take, you can select Bulk add, Bulk replace, or Bulk remove.
In the bulk operation panel, click template to download the template to your local device.
After finishing editing the template, upload the file.
Click Apply. The process will start to validate the file and update the Group.
By importing CSV files, owners and members can be edited in bulk for groups. If you are using Cloud Governance, contacts can also be managed., To edit by the CSV file, complete the following steps:
On the Groups page, select the Groups to edit in bulk and click Bulk operation on the ribbon. The selected Groups must have the same Group type and be in the same tenant.
In the dropdown list, click Bulk edit Group permissions.
In the Bulk edit Group permissions panel, click template to download the CSV template to your local device.
After finishing editing the template, upload the file.
Click Update. After finishing all your bulk edits, click Save.
For on-premises groups, you can move them from their original organizational unit to another one.
Select one or more on-premises groups in the same tenant domain.
Click Move OU on the ribbon.
In the Move OU panel, select the organizational unit to move the groups to.
Click Save.
To bulk edit custom attributes for Groups, complete the following steps:
On the Groups page, select multiple Groups.
Click Bulk operation and then select Bulk edit custom attributes.
In the Bulk edit custom attributes panel, complete the following steps:
Click Export to Export the custom attributes’ editing template for the selected mailboxes.
Complete your edits in the exported file.
Click Select files or drop the file to the panel to upload it.
Click Save.
To manually retrieve the latest data of Groups, complete the following steps:
On the Groups page, select the target Groups.
Click Sync latest data. A process will start to retrieve the latest data.
To delete Groups, complete the following steps:
Select the Groups you want to delete.
Click Delete.
In the Delete Groups window, click Delete, the process will start to delete the Groups.
