#Create Scan Profiles

To manage Microsoft 365 objects using EnPower, you must first scan them into EnPower via AvePoint Online Services > Auto discovery.

You can scan your objects into default containers provided by AvePoint Online Services with the Express mode, or you can use the Advanced mode to define how Microsoft 365 objects are detected and grouped in EnPower. The Advanced mode is highly recommended if you would like to customize and manage your virtual tenants by registering your objects dynamically to containers in AvePoint Online Services.

The following objects can be included in the scan profile in AvePoint Online Services for management in EnPower:

• Microsoft 365

  • Exchange mailbox

  • OneDrive

  • SharePoint site

  • Microsoft 365 Group/Microsoft Team/Viva Engage Community

  • Project site

  • Microsoft 365 user

  • Security and distribution group

  • Loop Workspace

    NOTE

    Mailboxes without an Object ID cannot be retrieved by AvePoint Online Services.
