Export Teams

In Teams management, you can export your Teams in the table on the Teams page into reports, or you can export your Teams with their detailed information. You can also create export schedules to export your Teams reports to a specified SharePoint library. Refer to the sections below for details on exporting Teams.

Export Teams Table

To export Teams in the table on the Teams page into a ZIP file, complete the following steps.

  1. Click Export to expand the action list. Then click Export Teams table and select fields to include in the exported report. You can select from Current fields and All fields.

    • If you select current fields, only columns and Teams shown in the table on the page will be exported. To configure the fields to show, you can manage the columns and configure the filter. See Get Familiar with the EnPower Interface.

      After clicking Current fields, the process will start to export the report.

    • If you select All fields, the process will start to export the report.

  2. Click process center in the popup window or click View all in the Process center (Icon: Process center.) window to navigate to the Process center.

  3. On the Process center page, you can view the export status and click the Download (Button: Download) button to download the exported file.

Export Teams Details

To export Teams details including channel details or membership details of the selected Teams, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Export to expand the action list. Then click Export Teams details and select fields to include in the exported report. You can select from Current fields and All fields.

    • If you select Current fields, only columns and Teams shown in the table on the page will be exported. To configure the fields to show, you can manage the columns and configure the filter.
  2. In the Export details panel, select the details to export, including:

    • Channel details – Details of channels in the Teams, including channel names, channel types, and channel descriptions will be included in the report.

    • Membership details – Details of Teams’ membership, including the user principal names of owners, members, and guests in the Teams will be included in the report.

  3. Click Export. The process will start to export the report. Click process center in the popup window or click View all in the Process center (Icon: Process center) window to navigate to the Process center.

  4. On the Process center page, you can view the export status and click the Download (Button: Download) button to download the exported file.

Manage Scheduled Export

To export Teams by schedules to your SharePoint library, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Export to expand the action list. Then click Manage scheduled export.

  2. In the panel, click Create to create an export schedule and complete the configurations including:

    • Schedule name – Enter the name of the export schedule.

    • Export time – Configure the time at which the reports are exported.

    • Export interval – Select the interval for the export from:

      • One day – The export will be operated on a daily basis.

      • One week – The export will be operated on a weekly basis. After selecting One week, you can also specify on which day the report will be exported every month.

      • Customized months – The interval of the export will be customized months. After selecting Customized months, you can specify the day and the customized interval of the months for the export schedule.

    • Report view – Select the report view that will be used for the exported report.

    • Details to export – Select the details that will be included in the exported report, including:

      • Channel details – Details of channels in the Teams, including channel names, channel types, and channel descriptions will be included in the report.

      • Membership details – Details of Teams’ membership, including the user principal names of owners, members, and guests in the Teams will be included in the report.

    • Export to a SharePoint library – Enter the URL of a SharePoint library or a folder in the library. Then click Validate to check if the URL you have entered is valid.

  3. Click Save and close.
