Create a Local User

    Refer to the following steps to create a local user:

    1. Under the Users / All users tab, click Create > Create local user to open the Create local user page.

    2. In the Basic information step, complete the following information:

      • First name – The first name of the user.

      • Middle name – The middle name of the user.

      • Last name – The last name of the user.

      • Password – Set a secure password for the user.

      • Confirm password – Repeat the password to ensure accuracy.

    3. Click Next.

    4. In the System settings step, complete the following information:

      • Full name – The full name of the user.

      • User principal name – The user principal name.

      • Login name (pre-Windows 2000) – The legacy SAM account name of the user.

      • Create in – Select the target organizational unit where the user will be created.

    5. Click Next.

    6. In the Review step, you can verify all entered information and edit information if needed. If no more updates are needed, click Create to create the local user.
