#Set License Effective Dates

Refer to the following steps to set license effective dates across tenants:

1. Click Set license effective dates.

2. License unassignment effective date – Turn on the toggle to set the effective date for license unassignment.

   • Immediately – Select this option to unassign licenses from users on the same day the license unassignment operation is performed.

     NOTE

     For workflow-triggered license unassignments, if you select this option, the license unassignments will take effect immediately.

   • Day {number} of the month – Select this option to schedule license unassignment on the specified calendar day of the month after the license unassignment operation is performed.

     NOTE

     For workflow-triggered license unassignments, if you select this option, the license unassignments will take effect on the specified calendar day.

3. License assignment effective date – Turn on the toggle to set the effective date for license assignment.

   • Immediately – Select this option to assign licenses to users on the same day the license assignment operation is performed.

   • Day {number} of the month – Select this option to schedule license assignment on the specified calendar day of the month after the license assignment operation is performed.

4. License downgrade effective date – Turn on the toggle to set the effective date for license downgrade.

   • Immediately – Select this option to downgrade licenses for users on the same day the license downgrade operation is performed.

     NOTE

     For workflow-triggered license downgrades, if you select this option, the license downgrades will take effect immediately.

   • Day {number} of the month – Select this option to schedule license downgrade on the specified calendar day of the month after the license downgrade operation is performed.

     NOTE

     For workflow-triggered license unassignments, if you select this option, the license downgrades will take effect on the specified calendar day.
