Download this articleMutation risk assessment is a safeguard feature for HR synchronization that helps evaluate how risky a sync job is before or during execution. It does this by assigning risk scores to different user action types and calculating a total risk score for each sync job. In the assessment configuration, you can define how much risk is acceptable and set rules for what should happen when that limit is exceeded.
To open mutation risk assessment, go to the HR page and, in the Mutation risk assessment card, click View details.
The Mutation risk assessment page includes the following tabs:
Mutation risk history – Displays historical mutation risk assessment records.
Assessment configuration – Lists all available connections. Click a connection name to open the Assessment configuration details page, where you can review and update settings. After making changes, click Apply changes to save and apply the updated configuration.
Maximum impact score threshold – This section enables you to control synchronizations based on risk score. Enable the setting to stop synchronization when the calculated risk score exceeds the maximum allowed score, set up a maximum allowed risk score, and specify an email notification recipient. When the calculated risk score for a sync job exceeds the threshold you set, the sync job will be automatically stopped, and an email notification will be sent to the specified user.
Action risk score – This section allows you to assign a risk score to each user action type. The risk score for a sync job is calculated based on the user actions performed during the sync and their corresponding risk scores. The total risk score is the sum of the risk scores for all actions performed in the sync job. By assigning different risk scores to different action types, you can prioritize which actions contribute more to the overall risk score and set appropriate thresholds for stopping sync jobs.
