Restore Resources

You can restore Azure virtual machines, Azure blobs, Azure file shares, Azure SQL databases, Azure DevOps organizations to a specific date that has been backed up.

To restore specific resources, refer to the following steps:

    1. On the Inventory page, select the resources you want to restore, and click Restore.

    2. In the Restore to a specific date window, click the date that you want to use in the calendar and click Continue. If all backups for a specific date fail, that date will be grayed out and unavailable for selection.

    3. Enable the toggle next to the backup jobs to define the data recovery point on the selected date, then click Review restore.

    4. After checking the information of the resource, select it and click Restore to run the restore job.

If any resources have been deleted and they’re no longer visible on the Inventory page in Elements, you can directly click the Restore button to perform a restore based on a job that has backed up the resources. In the calendar, locate a backup job, select the resources you want to restore, and click Restore to run the restore job.
