Manage Resellers

In this system, as a large account reseller, you can manage your own resellers via the Reseller directory. Click Reseller directory in the navigation pane to go to the Reseller directory page.

NOTE

One reseller can be managed by multiple large account resellers and get different pool subscriptions from different large account resellers. A large account reseller can only view the information of the pool subscription got from them.

You can perform the following actions on the Reseller directory page:

  • Invite new reseller – To invite new resellers, click Invite new reseller in the upper-right corner, and then select to invite a single reseller or batch invite resellers. For more information, refer to Invite Resellers.

    NOTE

    You cannot invite another large account resellers.

  • Add pool – To assign a pooled subscription to a reseller, select the reseller and click Add pool. The Add pool panel appears. For more information, refer to Add Pool.

  • Export – Click Export above the table to export the reseller information. A window appears. You can modify the file name of the report in this window and click Export to export the report to your default download location.

  • Map resellers – To map the reseller that has not been mapped, select the reseller and click Map. In the Map panel, select the desired tenant owner and organization name for the reseller. Then, click Save. The status of the reseller will be updated to Mapped.

  • View reseller information – To view the detailed information about a reseller, click the reseller’s organization name. The reseller detailed dashboard appears. For more information, refer to [View the Reseller Detailed Dashboard](./manage-resellers.md/#view-the-reseller-detailed-dashboard.

  • View reseller’s customers – Turn on/off the toggle in this column to define if the reseller allows you to view the reseller’s customers’ names. When it is turned off, the customers’ names will be hidden when you view the reseller’s customer information. Note that once it is turned off, you cannot turn it back on and only resellers can enable your visibility in Elements.

  • Delete resellers – To delete a reseller, select the reseller and click Delete.

    A pop-up window appears asking for your confirmation. Enter Yes in the text box, and click Delete to confirm your deletion.

    NOTE

    The resellers who have active pooled subscriptions cannot be deleted.

  • Search for a reseller – To search for a specific reseller, enter the keywords of the reseller’s tenant owner in the search box in the upper-left corner. Then, press Enter on the keyboard.

  • Filter resellers – You can filter resellers by Status. Click Filter in the upper-right corner and customize the filter condition.

    Click Filter to apply the condition to filter customers. Your filter condition will be displayed at the top of the table, and you can also click the recycle bin button next to the condition to remove it.

  • Manage columns – Click Manage columns in the upper-right corner to choose the columns you want to display on the page.

View the Reseller Detailed Dashboard

The reseller detailed dashboard displays the information of reseller's subscriptions, license details, and customer information.

  • Pools – The number of pooled subscriptions allocated to this reseller.

  • Customers – The number of customers who have active pooled subscriptions from this reseller.

  • Total user seats/objects – The number of user seats and objects allocated to this reseller.

  • Allocated user seats/objects – The number of user seats and objects that this reseller has allocated to their customers.

  • Pending acceptance – The number of user seats and objects that are still pending this reseller’s acceptance.

  • Expiring in 30 days – The number of user seats and objects that will expire within 30 days.

  • Available licenses – The line chart shows the percentage trend of this reseller’s available licenses (user seats/objects/capacity) for different pooled subscriptions within the last 6 months. You can select or deselect the checkboxes of each pooled subscription to view or hide its data. You can also hover your mouse over the first day of a month to view the percentage of available licenses, number of purchased licenses, and number of allocated licenses for each pooled subscription at that time.

  • Pools – This section shows the reseller’s pooled subscription details in each column and allows you to perform the following actions to manage pooled subscriptions of this reseller.

    • Add pool – To assign a pooled subscription to this reseller, click Add pool. The Add pool panel appears. For more information, refer to Add Pool.

    • Edit – To edit a pooled subscription of this reseller, select the pooled subscription and click Edit. The Edit pool panel appears. For more information, refer to Edit Pool.

    • Return to pool – When this reseller has not accepted the pooled subscriptions and the status is Pending acceptance, you can select the record and click Return to pool above the table to return the subscription back to your pool. If you want to return an accepted pool subscription, they need to set the pool subscription as expired and then return it.

    • Search – To search for a specific pooled subscription, enter the keywords of the pooled subscription name in the search box in the upper-left corner. Then, press Enter on the keyboard.

    • Filter – You can filter pooled subscriptions by Source, Payment type, and Status. Click Filter in the upper-right corner and customize the filter criteria.

      Click Filter to apply the criteria to filter pooled subscriptions. All your filter criteria will be displayed at the top of the table, and you can also click the recycle bin button next to each filter criterion to remove it.

    • Manage columns – Click Manage columns in the upper-right corner to choose the columns you want to display on the page.

  • Customers – This section shows the details of customers who have pooled subscriptions from this reseller in each column and allows you to perform the following actions to view customers.

    • Search – To search for a specific customer, enter the keywords of the customer’s organization name in the search box in the upper-left corner. Then, press Enter on the keyboard.

    • Filter – You can filter customers by Customer and Pool. Click Filter in the upper-right corner and customize the filter criteria.

      Click Filter to apply the criteria to filter customers. All your filter criteria will be displayed at the top of the table, and you can also click the recycle bin button next to each filter criterion to remove it.

    • Manage columns – Click Manage columns in the upper-right corner to choose the columns you want to display on the page.

Invite Resellers

Click Invite new reseller in the upper-right corner, and then select to invite a single reseller or batch invite resellers. Refer to the sections below for instructions on two methods.

Single Invite

In the Single invite panel, enter the email address and optional organization name of the reseller you want to invite and click Search.

Elements will find resellers using the email address first. If a reseller whose tenant owner is same as the email address, the reseller will be displayed. If no reseller is found using the email address, Elements will then use the email domain and organization name to find resellers.

  • If only one or multiple resellers are found, you can select the desired reseller and click Invite. Existing resellers will not receive any invite emails when the large account reseller invites.

  • If no reseller can be found, you can click Send email to send an invitation email to the reseller to sign up for Elements.

Batch Invite

In the Batch invite panel, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Download template to download a template for configuring the resellers.

  2. Open the file and configure the organization name and reseller’s email addresses in each row. Then, save the file.

  3. Click Upload and select the updated template file that you want to upload.

  4. Select if you want to Send an invitation email to accounts not registered in Elements. With this setting selected, if any resellers do not exist in Elements, Elements will send an invitation email to the resellers to sign up for Elements to make sure they can be invited.

  5. Click Invite to invite the resellers configured in the uploaded template file.

Add Pool

You can add new pooled subscriptions for a mapped reseller and configure the subscription settings by referring to the instructions below:

  1. Select online services by clicking their cards.

  2. Click Next to proceed.

  3. On the Subscription information page, configure subscription information for each service by selecting that service on the left and editing its subscription information on the right.

    • Pool – Select the pooled subscription that you want to assign to the reseller.

    • Source – Select a value to indicate the source of your pooled subscription.

    • Payment type – Select the payment type of the reseller for this pooled subscription.

    • User seats/Capacity/Objects – Enter the number of user seats or capacity you want to assign to the reseller.

      To view the user seats or capacity you own, click View details of available user seats/capacity/objects.

    • Subscription expiration date – By default, Same as pooled subscription is selected to keep the same expiration date as the pooled subscription. You can select Expire now or select Specify a time to set an expiration date for the reseller’s subscription. Note that if the large account reseller does not extend the pooled subscription, the reseller’s pool will be expired immediately when the large reseller’s pool is expired.

    • Reselling price – Configure the currency and reselling price for this pool.

  4. Click Save to save your configurations.

Edit Pool

On the Edit pool page, you can configure the following subscription information.

  • Payment type – Select the payment type of the reseller for this pooled subscription. The payment type can only be edited when the reseller has not assigned this pooled subscription to any customer.

  • User seats/Capacity/Objects – Enter the number of user seats or capacity you want to assign to the reseller.

    To view the user seats, capacity, or objects you own, click View details of available user seats/capacity/objects.

  • Subscription expiration date – Select Same as pooled subscription to keep the same expiration date as the pooled subscription or select Specify a time and then click the calendar button to select a subscription expiration date. To make the subscription expire immediately, select Expire now.

  • Reselling price – Configure the currency and reselling price for this pool.

Click Save to save your configurations.
