Execute Deployment
When deploying configurations to a tenant, you may encounter the following statuses on the Tenants page. Monitor these statuses to ensure proper deployment execution.
- **Deployment** **draftsaved** – This status appears when configurations have been reviewed and saved as draft but not yet deployed.
For a tenant with this status, you can select the tenant, and click **Deploy** to deploy the configurations to the tenant immediately.
- **Scheduled deployment** – This status appears when configurations have been reviewed and scheduled for automated deployment at a specified date and time.
For a tenant with this status, if you do not want to wait, you can select the tenant, and click **Deploy** to deploy the configurations to the tenant right now.
- **Review deployment** – This status appears when a baseline is applied to a tenant or when the baseline of the tenant has been changed. At this time, the comparison page is created.
For a tenant with this status, you need to review discrepancies between the tenant’s current configurations and the applied baseline, make updates as needed, and initiate the deployment process to deploy the finalized configurations to the tenant. For detailed instructions, refer to [Review Deployment](#missing-link).
After clicking Deploy, the system will start verifying configurations. Depending on the results, one of the following scenarios will occur:
- If some configurations need attention, the **Validation check** window will appear, detailing the configurations that need your review. You can click **Copy** to copy the information to the clipboard for reference, and then go back to the page to update the configurations accordingly. Alternatively, you can click **Continue** to ignore and proceed with the deployment, which might cause exceptions or failures during the deployment process.
- If all configurations are valid or if you have chosen to ignore the configurations shown in the **Validation check** window, the **Deploy** window will pop up, displaying the number of added configurations, removed configurations, and changed configurations.
In the Deploy window, complete the following steps:
-
Specify drift detection scope.
-
Only the baseline configurations – Select this option to monitor the tenant by predefined baseline configurations. It will exclusively detect modifications made to these baseline configurations, ignoring all configurations unique to the tenant.
-
All supported configurations – Select this option for comprehensive tenant monitoring. It will identify any modifications made to all supported configurations. Refer to Supported Baseline Configurations to find all supported configurations.
-
Enter comments if necessary.
-
Section an action:
-
Close – If you do not want to deploy configurations to the tenant, click Close to close the window.
-
Save draft – If you want to save the configurations as draft, click Save draft. The status displays Deployment draft saved. When it is ready to deploy, you need to manually deploy the configurations to the tenant.
-
Schedule deployment – After clicking Schedule deployment, you need to select a future date and time, and click OK. The status displays Scheduled deployment. Configurations are waiting to be deployed at the specified date and time.

If you have chosen to deploy the configurations immediately, on the Tenants page, you can locate the tenant and find its Status to track the progress:
- **Deploying** – During the process of the deployment, this status appears.
- **Deployed** **with exception** (clickable) – If the deployment finishes with exceptions, this status will appear. The total number of configurations and the number of deployed configurations are displayed.
You can click the status link and then click **Export report** to export the report for details or click **Retry** to try again.
- **Deployment failed** (clickable) – If the deployment fails, this status will appear.
You can click the status link and then click **Export report** to export the report for details or click **Retry** to try again.
- **Monitoring** – If the deployment is successful, this status will appear.
