Export to PDFOn the User management page, there is an AD naming profiles card, displaying the number of created AD naming profiles. By clicking View details, you will be redirected to the AD naming profiles page where you can manage AD naming profiles.
On the AD naming profiles page, the existing AD naming profiles are listed in the table, displaying the following details: profile name, tenant scope, and description.
You can select one or multiple profiles and click Delete to delete them.
Refer to the following steps to create an AD naming profile:
On the AD naming profiles page, click Create AD naming profile in the upper-right corner. The Create AD naming profile page appears.
Complete the following information:
Profile name – Enter a name for this profile.
Description – Enter a description.
Tenant scope – Select the tenants where this AD naming profile will be applied.
Click Create.
Refer to the following steps to edit an AD naming profile:
On the AD naming profiles page, click the name of an AD naming profile to open the AD naming profiledetails page.
Under the Basic tab, you can edit the profile name, description, and its tenant scope.
Under the Configurations tab, entry types are displayed. Each entry type has its own extension name, prefix and suffix, and organizational unit (OU) path. To edit an entry type, click the entry type to open the Configuration details page. Make updates and click Apply changes to apply the changes.
Under the Audit logs tab, you can find all action records performed to the AD naming profile.
On the AD naming profiles page, select one AD naming profile and click Export, or you can click Export on the AD naming profile details page of that AD naming profile. A User_Management_AD_Naming_Profile file will be exported to the default download location of your current browser.
Refer to the following steps to import an AD naming profile:
On the AD naming profiles page, click Import.
In the Import AD naming profile window, complete the following information:
Profile name – Enter a name for this profile.
Description – Enter a description.
Tenant scope – Select the tenants where this AD naming profile will be applied.
Upload – Click Download template to download a template, complete the entry type offline, and then upload the template back to the system when ready.
Click Import. A process will start to import the AD naming profile.
Tenants linked to an AD naming profile will utilize its entry types to mark users and security groups.
You can link multiple AD naming profiles to a single tenant. However, only one AD naming profile can be selected when you run initialization for the tenant.
Select an AD naming profile, and click Set tenant scope. In the pop-up window, select the tenants, and click Apply.
