Home > Baseline Management > Deploy Configurations to a Tenant
Export to PDFThe process of deploying configurations to a tenant involves the following steps:
Apply baseline – To begin with, you need to apply a desired baseline to the tenant. This establishes the reference standard for subsequent comparisons.
Retrieve settings – Elements retrieves configurations from both the tenant and the applied baseline to generate a comparison page highlighting discrepancies.
Review comparisons – You need to review the comparisons between the tenant’s current configurations and the baseline, and make updates to ensure the accurate configurations will be deployed.
Manage domain mappings – Before executing deployment, configure domain mappings between the applied baseline and the tenant. Domain-related properties aligned with any of these domain mappings are recognized as matches, eliminating the need for manual intervention.
Execute deployment – When the configurations meet your requirements, you can specify the drift detection scope and initiate the deployment process to deploy the finalized configurations to the tenant.
Manage detected configuration deviations – There are routine comparisons of current tenant configurations against deployed baseline standards to detect configuration deviations. You can view and manage these configuration deviations.
