    Create User Mappings

    Complete the following settings on the mapping page:

    1. Enter a name and an optional description for the mapping.

    2. In the Map users/groups using domain name section, enter the source domain name and the destination domain name. For example, contoso.com. All users in the source domain will be mapped to users in the specified destination domain name after the migration. Click Add to add additional domain mappings.

      To delete domain mappings, select the corresponding checkboxes and click Delete.

    3. In the Define source and destination users/groups section, you can add the user mapping one by one or import multiple mappings in bulk.

      • Add user mapping – Configure the user mapping by entering the source and destination email addresses/login names into the provided field. Click Add to add additional mappings.

      • Import user mappings – Click Import. In the Import panel, you can download the template for mapping examples and configure mappings directly in the file; or you can click Export in this section to export a mapping file and modify it. After the configurations, in the Import panel, import the mapping file by dragging the file or browsing the file from the local location. Click Save to save the mappings.

      To delete user mappings, select the corresponding checkboxes and click Delete.

      To search for an existing mapping, enter the source or destination username in the search box and press Enter on the keyboard to search the mapping.

    4. Click Save to save the settings for this mapping.

    Microsoft Teams Chat

    Make sure the configured source and destination users are correct to ensure information security. Otherwise, the following issues will occur after the migration:

    - The names of destination chats are incorrect, and the destination users in the chats are not your desired users. - The sent users of chat messages in the destination chats are incorrect. - The file links cannot redirect to the files. - The file permissions are granted to incorrect users.
