Export to PDFRefer to the following steps to merge OneDrive sites or copy/merge folders or files.
*Note: The unique IDs of folders/files copied to the destination will be different from those in the source.
Click Explorer under Aviator in the left pane.
Click the OneDrive tab.
Select the tenant from which you want to merge OneDrive sites or copy/merge folders.
*Note: To load the tenant, the tenant connection must have been created in AvePoint Online Services.
Select a connection of the tenant from the Connection drop-down list to load OneDrive sites.
*Note: A scan job must have been run in AvePoint Online Services to scan objects to containers.
If you want to merge OneDrive sites, select one or multiple target sites, and select Merge OneDrive sites. Data of source sites will be merged to the destination site.
If you want to copy folders, expand the sites of the folders and select the target folders, and select Copy folder. New folders will be created in the destination.
If you want to merge folders, expand the sites of the folders and select the target folders, and select Merge folder. Source folders will be merged to the defined destination.
If you want to copy files, expand the sites and folders of the files, select the target folders/lists, and select Copy file. New files will be created in the destination.
You can search OneDrive sites by entering the user principal name in the search box. In each site, you can search folders in the site by entering the keyword of the folder name in the search box. In each folder, you can search files in the folder by entering the keyword of the file name in the search box.
To clear the selection of objects, click the selected objects button in front of Filter.
Select a source connection as the authentication method. If you want to create a new connection, click the Add (
) button.
Select the destination as follows:
Select a destination tenant.
Select a destination connection as the authentication method. If you want to create a new connection, click the Add (
) button.
Select the destination OneDrive site where you want to merge OneDrive sites or copy/merge folders.
If you select to Merge OneDrive site, select a OneDrive site as the destination.
If you select to Copy folder, select a OneDrive site, or click the email address of a OneDrive site and select a folder under the site as the destination.
If you select to Merge folder, click the email address of a OneDrive site and select a folder under the site as the destination.
If you select to Copy file, select a OneDrive site, or click the email address of a OneDrive site and select a folder under the site as the destination.
Click Next.
Select an Aviator policy from the drop-down list. If you want to create a new policy, click the Add (
) button. Clicking View details can view and edit the detailed information of the selected policy.
Select when to run the Aviator job.
Run now – With this option selected, you can directly go to the next step.
Run on a specific time – Configure the start date and time for the job, as well as a name and optional description for the schedule plan.
After an Aviator job is finished as scheduled, if you configure a new start date and time for the job, the subsequent job will only migrate newly created or modified content in source objects since the last migration, and error and warning objects in previous migrations to the destination.
Run on a recurring schedule – This job will migrate newly created or modified content in source objects since the last migration, and error and warning objects in previous migrations to the destination. Configure the start date and time, end date and time, and recurrence frequency for the job, as well as a name and optional description for the schedule plan.
Click Next.
Check whether the information on the Preview page is correct. If there is any incorrect information, click Back to update.
Click Copy or Merge. If the job has a schedule, the job will be recorded in Schedule plan. You can check the job details in Schedule plan. If the job does not have a schedule, the job will start immediately. You can view the job status and details in Job monitor.
