#Pre-analyze Mappings (Optional)

After creating mappings for Microsoft Teams Chat migrations, you can verify whether the mappings are ready for migrations.

Refer to the following steps to pre-analyze mappings:

1. Click Projects in the left pane to access the Projects page, and click the project name of the project where you want to pre-analyze mappings.

2. On the Project mappings page, select one or multiple mappings you want to pre-analyze.

3. Click Pre-migration, and click Verify mapping. This action will analyze the following information:

   • For Microsoft Teams Chat to Microsoft Teams Chat Migration:

     • Whether the source chat user has a OneDrive site.

     • Whether the source and destination chat users exist in the corresponding tenant.

     • Whether the destination consent user and placeholder account exist in the destination tenant.

     • Whether the placeholder account, destination consent user, and destination chat user are different users.

     • Whether the destination consent user has a Microsoft Teams license.

     • Whether the destination chat user has a SharePoint Online license.

   • For Microsoft Teams Chat to Google Chat Space Migration:

     • Whether the source chat user has a OneDrive site.

     • Whether the source and destination chat users exist in the corresponding tenant.

     • Whether the destination space user status is active.

When the mappings within the project are ready for migrations, you can run migrations for the mappings to migrate objects.
