Post-migration

After the migrations, you can also perform the following actions:

- **Sync user passwords** – To sync the passwords of users mapped to the destination or newly created users to the destination. - **Migrate object managers** – To migrate the managers of the selected objects. - **Migrate group membership** – To migrate the membership of the selected groups. - **Sync objects OU changes** – To sync OU changes of source objects to the destination.

Sync User Passwords

Refer to the following steps to sync user passwords in Fly:

*Note: This function is only available for user type mappings that are not in progress.

  1. On the Project mappings page, select one or multiple mappings for which you want to sync the passwords.

  2. Click Post-migration and click Sync user passwords. The Sync user passwords? window appears.

  3. Click Sync and Fly will start a migration job to sync the passwords of the selected users.

For in progress Sync user passwords jobs, you can select the mappings and click Stop to stop the jobs.

Migrate Object Managers

Refer to the following steps to migrate object managers in Fly:

  1. On the Project mappings page, select one or multiple mappings for which you want to migrate the manager information.

  2. Click Post-migration and click Migrate object managers. The Migrate object managers? window appears.

  3. Click Yes and Fly will start a migration job to migrate the managers of the selected objects.

For in progress Migrate object managers jobs, you can select the mappings and click Stop to stop the jobs.

Migrate Group Membership

Refer to the following steps to migrate group membership in Fly:

*Note: This function is only available for group type mappings that are not in progress.

  1. On the Project mappings page, select one or multiple mappings for which you want to migrate the membership.

  2. Click Post-migration and click Migrate group membership. The Migrate group membership? window appears.

  3. Click Yes and Fly will start a migration job to migrate the membership of the selected groups.

For in progress Migrate group membership jobs, you can select the mappings and click Stop to stop the jobs.

Sync Objects OU Changes

Refer to the following steps to sync objects OU changes in Fly:

  1. On the Project mappings page, select one or multiple mappings for which you want to sync the OU changes.

  2. Click Post-migration and click Sync objects OU changes. The Sync objects OU changes? window appears.

  3. Click Yes and Fly will start a migration job to sync the OU changes of the selected mappings.

For in progress Sync objects OU changes jobs, you can select the mappings and click Stop to stop the jobs.
