Export to PDFYou can perform the following operations to manage rules for the information lifecycle module.
- Create a Rule Container – Refer to the section below for detailed instructions.
- Search for a Rule Container – To search for a specific rule container, enter the rule container name in the Search text box, and then click the Search button. Search results are displayed.
- Rename a Rule Container – To rename a container, select the rule container, click the down arrow () button, and then select **Rename** **rule** **container**. Enter a new name in the text box, and press **Enter** on the keyboard.
- Delete a Rule Container – When a rule container is no longer useful, you can select the rule container, click the down arrow () button, and then select **Delete** **rule** **container**. Click **OK** in the confirmation window to confirm the deletion.

- Search for a Rule – To search for a specific rule, enter the rule name, description, or disposal class in the Search text box, and then click the Search button. Search results are displayed.
- Edit a Rule – After creating a rule, you can click the Edit () button to the right of the rule name to edit the rule settings.
- Delete a Rule – When a rule is no longer useful, you can click the Delete () button to the right of the rule name, and then click **OK** in the confirmation window to confirm the deletion.
