#Synchronize Content for Search

To search for the Google Drive content (files and folders) that is managed by AvePoint Opus, you need to run a Content synchronization for search job to synchronize content from Google Drive to AvePoint Opus. You can then search for the Google Drive content on the Search page, and take certain actions on the search results.

Select a tree node and click Sync content for search to immediately run a Content synchronization for search job.

*Note: There is a communication delay between Opus and Google Workspace. Files and folders created or updated with the last 15 minutes cannot be retrieved by the job.

*Note: Disabling the Enable classification with AvePoint Opus terms setting on the Term settings panel will hide the Sync content tosearch button. This prevents synchronizing content from Google Drive to AvePoint Opus for search and management.
