#Convert Stub File Type

You can convert stub files across file types. Each file type has unique pros and cons, and you can refer to Configure Stub Templates for details.

Opus has suspended support for creating stub templates of the ASPX type since the February 2025 release. If there are ASPX stub files, you can convert them to other file types such as TXT, HTML, and Restore link to ensure better compatibility and performance.

Refer to the following steps to convert stub file type:

1. Select a tree node (sites container or site collection) and click Convert stub file type.

2. Select the original stub file type and the target stub template.

3. Click Run now. A Convert stub file type job will start, and you can navigate to Job monitor to view the details.
