#Synchronize Content for Search

To search for the Exchange Online content that is managed by AvePoint Opus, you need to run a Content synchronization for search job to synchronize content from Exchange Online to AvePoint Opus. You can then search for the Exchange Online content on the Search page, and take certain actions on the search results.

Select a tree node and click Sync content for search to immediately run a Content synchronization forsearch job.

After the synchronization, a unique ID will be generated for each synchronized email.

*Note: Disabling the Enable classification with AvePoint Opus terms setting on the Term settings panel will hide the Sync content tosearch button. This prevents synchronizing content from Exchange Online to AvePoint Opus for search and management.
