The Opus content management framework comprises three core modules, and each module addresses distinct organizational needs throughout content management operations.

The Information Lifecycle module focuses on long-term content management from creation to disposal. It applies terms to data for classification, and implements rules for data retention, archiving, and defensible disposal, ensuring data compliance with organizational and governmental policies and reducing risks.

The Storage Optimization module emphasizes efficient storage management and cost savings. It implements rules for data archiving and deletion, freeing up storage space, preventing uncontrolled storage growth, and efficiently managing storage budgets. This module is ideal for organizations with a clear understanding of their content and have strategies to effectively manage and optimize their content.

The Discovery and Analysis module is oriented toward content discovery and in-depth analysis. It enables organizations to optimize their content through data-drive insights. For organizations needing insights into their content and wishing to generate analytical reports before taking any actions, Discovery and Analysis is a better choice.
