Export Content Source Settings

You can export document level term settings and manual approval settings of sites containers, site collections, sites, lists/libraries, and folders.

*Note: The export functionality will be unavailable if Records management has been disabled.

Refer to the following steps to export content source settings:

    1. Navigate to Content sources > SharePoint Online.

    2. Click Export content source settings.

    3. Select an export option:

      • Export nodes with custom settings – Select this option if you want to only export containers and their child nodes that have unique settings configured.

*Note: This option does not support exporting settings for the following term application methods: Auto-populate a term based on criteria and Smart classification.

      • Export all nodes – Select this option if you want to export all containers, site collections, and any lower-level nodes that have unique settings configured.

*Note: While this option supports exporting settings for the following term application methods: Auto-populate a term based on criteria and Smart classification, these settings are not supported to be imported back to Opus.

    4. Click Export. An Export content source settings job will start, and you can navigate to Job monitor to view the job details.

    5. A download process will start in Download center. When the download process is completed, you can download the file by clicking Download.
