Restore Archived Content

For Google Drive, AvePoint Opus only supports returning the archived content to the original locations.

Complete the following steps to restore the archived content:

  1. Select the archived content that you want to restore, and click Restore to open the Restore page.

  2. In place restore – This is selected by default and cannot be modified.

  3. Document versions – Enter a number to define the number of latest versions to restore or choose to restore all versions.

  4. Conflict resolution – If the name of an archived document is same as that of an existing document in the destination, a conflict will occur. You need to select a conflict resolution to address this issue:

    • Overwrite – This will replace the existing document in the destination with the archived document.

    • Skip – This will not restore the archived document, and instead keep the existing document in the destination.

    • Append – This will keep the original document as it is and copy the archived document to the original location by adding a suffix (_1, _2, _3, …) to the document name.

  5. Click Save. A job will start to restore the content.
