#Import Content Source Settings

Refer to the following steps to import term settings and manual approval settings of folders:

1. Navigate to Content sources > File System.

2. Click Import content source settings.

3. In the pop-up window, click Download template. The template in the name of Import Content Source Terms for File System is downloaded to the download location of your current browser.

4. Complete the template with custom content source settings. There are several examples for your reference.

5. After finishing preparing the template, click browse to import the template to AvePoint Opus.

6. An Import content source settings job will start, and you can navigate to Job monitor to view the job details.

While using the template to import content source settings, please note the following:

1. The combination of the connection’s UNC path and the UNC Path column value will be the UNC Path of the object where you want to customize folder level term settings.

2. To successfully import the term settings, make sure the defined term scope and default term exist in AvePoint Opus.

3. If the defined default term is not the first-tier term under the defined term scope, enter the term path to help find the exact default term.
