#Synchronize Content for Search

To search for the Azure file share content that is managed by AvePoint Opus, you need to run a Content synchronization for the search job to synchronize data from Azure file share to AvePoint Opus. You can then search for the Azure file share content on the Search page, and take certain actions on the search results.

Select a tree node and click Sync content for search to immediately run a Content synchronization for search job.

After the synchronization, a unique ID will be generated for each synchronized directory/file.
