#Synchronize Content for Search

To search for the File System content that is managed by AvePoint Opus, you need to run a Content synchronization for the search job to synchronize data from File System to AvePoint Opus. You can then search for the File System content on the Search page, and take certain actions on the search results.

Select a tree node and click Sync content for search to immediately run a Content synchronization for search job.

After the synchronization, a unique ID will be generated for each synchronized folder/file.
