Teams & Groups

    To configure settings for the Teams & Groups content source, you must first Upgrade to New Teams & Groups Content Source. Management of Teams & Groups is divided into two modules:

    The Storage Optimization module supports the management of both the Team/Group and its content.

    - The Team/Group itself and its content is managed through dedicated rule criteria and rules actions. - Site collections or lower levels within Teams & Groups is managed through the SharePoint Online infrastructure, using the same rule criteria and rules actions as those applied to SharePoint Online.

    To manage Teams & Groups content, you need to perform the following operations in order:

    1. Create rules and add rules to a tree node.

    2. Run a Storage optimization job to enforce rules to the selected tree node to manage the SharePoint Online content.
