#About AvePoint Cloud Governance

AvePoint Cloud Governance is an online version of AvePoint Governance Automation that supports the need for organizations to use Microsoft 365 as a service by automating the ways users request configurable services, including, but not limited to: content management, lifecycle management, permissions management, and provisioning.

AvePoint Cloud Governance provides ways to create and govern your Microsoft 365 objects automatically by submitting rich and customizable predefined service requests that can trigger corresponding approval processes and policies to enforce them. This automation results in faster speed, the overall effectiveness of user interactions, and often a reduction in errors.

AvePoint Cloud Governance supports the following languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Italian, and Korean.

AvePoint Cloud Governance provides two administrative experiences, the modern admin center and the classic admin center, to support governance configurations, service management, and operational workflows. The modern admin center delivers a streamlined, redesigned interface with enhanced capabilities. As Cloud Governance modernizes, many classic features have been moved entirely to the modern admin center or mapped to new features that provide enhanced capabilities.

End users also have access to a dedicated portal that allows them to manage their tasks, submit new requests, and view workspaces they own without having to leave their Microsoft 365 interface. #AvePoint Cloud Governance Versions: Insider and Production

There are two versions of AvePoint Cloud Governance: one for preview features and one for generally available features.

The Insider version was created for users who want to see and test new product features before they are generally available in your production tenant. If you would like to join the AvePoint Cloud Governance Insider program, contact your AvePoint account manager to purchase the subscription. When you are ready to access the AvePoint Cloud Governance Insider environment, make sure you have a non-production Microsoft 365 tenant, and use this test tenant in the Insider environment.

The production version has two environments: an environment for commercial use and an environment available on Microsoft’s Cloud Platform for the U.S. Government.

#AvePoint Cloud Governance Teams App: MyHub

AvePoint Cloud Governance provides the MyHub personal app, which allows end users to receive task notifications, manage their tasks, submit new requests, and view workspaces they own within the Teams interface. End users can find MyHub in the Teams app store and add the app to their Teams client. As an administrator, you can pin the app to the app bar in Teams, so that end users do not need to manually add the app.
