A team can be archived via a team lifecycle management request, team renewal process, or automated archiving started from team lease expiration task/team inactivity task. When you enable team archiving in a team policy, you can also enable team membership and team site permission changes before team archiving. Configure a team archiving profile to choose how to manage the team membership, team site permissions, and channel sites before a team is archived in AvePoint Cloud Governance. This profile can be selected in a group/team policy.
To create a team archiving profile, navigate to Settings > Microsoft Teams Archiving Profile Management, and then refer to Configure Team Archiving Profiles for more details.
