Export to PDFAvePoint Cloud Governance Portal provides a modern interface that allows Microsoft 365 end users to manage their tasks, submit new requests, and view workspaces they own without having to leave their Microsoft 365 interface.
The portal is an application that can be added into Microsoft 365 via the Microsoft 365 custom tile feature. After you finish the configurations, your Microsoft 365 end users will see the app in their apps list.
Apart from accessing the AvePoint Cloud Governance Portal via the app in the apps list, your end users will also be directed to the AvePoint Cloud Governance Portal when:
They start requests in the Cloud Governance Panel/Site Information Card app part.
They click links in email notifications sent by AvePoint Cloud Governance.
If you don’t want your end users to be directed to the AvePoint Cloud Governance Portal, contact your AvePoint account manager.

Refer to the instructions below to add the AvePoint Cloud Governance Portal via Microsoft 365 custom tile feature:
In the Microsoft 365 admin center interface, navigate to Settings > Org settings > Organization profile > Custom tiles for Apps.
Refer to the Microsoft article Add custom tiles to the app launcher to add a tile for AvePoint Cloud Governance Portal. In the URL field, enter one of the following URLs listed in the table below according to the version of your Microsoft 365 and AvePoint Cloud Governance:

AvePoint Cloud Governance interface for IT administrators provides settings for the AvePoint Cloud Governance Portal.
To access Cloud Governance Portal Configuration settings, click Cloud Governance Portal Configuration in the System group within the Settings interface. You will be directed to the System settings page in the modern Cloud Governance admin center.
In the modern Cloud Governance admin center, you can perform the following actions:
Go to Look & feel > MyHub navigation menu management to configure quick requests. Refer to Manage MyHub Navigation Menu for details.
Go to Workspace & service > News & updates to configure the news and updates. Refer to Configure News and Updates for details.
Go to Look & feel > Theme, logo, help link, and app launcher settings to customize the help link. Refer to Configure Theme, Logo, Help Link, and App Launcher Settings for details.
The AvePoint Cloud Governance Portal is developed as an application. To achieve the features in the portal, the AvePoint Cloud Governance app needs the Sign in and read user profile delegated permission of the Microsoft Graph API, and the permission needs end user approval.
If your organization does not allow users to consent to apps on their behalf or you want to consent to the AvePoint Cloud Governance app on behalf of your end users, refer to the instructions below:
Access one of the following addresses in a web browser that does not have any Microsoft 365 login sessions.

The Microsoft 365 authentication page appears. Add &prompt=admin_consent at the end of this page’s URL, and then press Enter on the keyboard to continue.
Enter the username and password of a Microsoft 365 Global Administrator account.
Click Sign in.
The permission requested by the AvePoint Cloud Governance app is displayed. Review the permission and click Accept.
