Use Timer Service Configuration Management to manually configure the Timer Service setting. After saving the configurations for the Timer Service settings, they take effect immediately.
To access Timer Service Configuration Management settings, click Timer Service Configuration Management in the System group within the Settings interface.
In the Timer Service Configuration Management interface, configure the following settings:

Site Information Synchronization Job – Select Enable site information synchronization job to enable this job. The site information synchronization job synchronizes the related site information. Configure the interval by which this job is performed by entering a number with Hour(s), Day(s), Week(s), Month(s), or Year(s) as the unit. You can also select an execution schedule to execute the site information synchronization job.

Recertification Scan Job – Select Enable recertification scan job to enable this job. The recertification scan job checks the recertification profiles to see if it is time to run a recertification process. Configure the interval by which this job is performed by entering a number with Hour(s), Day(s), Week(s), Month(s), or Year(s) as the unit.

Site Collection Content Archival Scan Job – Select Enable site collection content archival scan job to enable this job. This job scans the site collections that have been applied with Archiver profiles. The job checks if there is any site collection content that meets the Archiver rules and needs to be archived. Configure the interval by which this job is performed by entering a number with Day(s), Week(s), Month(s), or Year(s) as the unit.

User Profile Property Synchronization Job – Select Enable user profile property synchronization job to enable this job. The user profile property synchronization job synchronizes the user profile property changes in Microsoft 365 to User Profile Property metadata values. Configure the interval by which this job is performed by entering a number with Month(s) or Year(s) as the unit.

User Profile Property Metadata – Variable Role Synchronization Job – Select Enable User Profile Property metadata – variable role synchronization job to enable this job. This job is for the User Profile Property metadata that retrieves the user profile property value from a variable role. The synchronization job can update the User Profile Property metadata value if the user serves as the role is changed. Configure the interval by which this job is performed by entering a number with Hour(s), Day(s), Week(s), Month(s), or Year(s) as the unit.

Click Save to save the configurations and return to the Settings interface, or click Cancel to return to the Settings interface without saving any configurations.
