    Configure Reminder Profiles for Upcoming Expiration

    Use reminder profiles to send notification emails to task assignees before tasks expire.

    To access Reminder Profile for Upcoming Expiration settings, click Reminder Profile for Upcoming Expiration in the Request Management group within Settings.

    On the interface for creating or editing a reminder profile, configure the following settings:

    1. Name and Description – Enter a desired Name for the reminder profile in the text box and enter an optional Description for the reminder profile for future reference.

    2. Task Reminder Settings – Configure the following task reminder settings:

      1. Email template – Select an email template that will be used to send the notification email.

      2. Send the notification email in advance by – Enter a number in the text box and select Day(s), Week(s), or Month(s) as the unit.

      3. Enable recurrent reminder – You can choose to enable recurrent reminder to resend the notification email in the schedule. Select the checkbox and enter a number in the text box to define the schedule.

    3. CC – To specify the users or groups (Microsoft 365 Groups, distribution groups, or mail-enabled security groups) who will receive a copy of the reminder email before the task is overdue, enter the name of the users or groups in the text box, or enter $ to select from the available roles.

      Note the following:

      • Local users or guest users are not allowed to be specified in this field.

      • When you create a new reminder profile or apply an existing reminder profile in a policy or profile, AvePoint recommends that the selected user roles match the workspace type. If the user role does not match the workspace type, those users will not receive a reminder email.

    4. Click Save on the ribbon to save your configurations.
