Export to PDFAutomatic Community Lifecycle Management tasks include Viva Engage community inactivity threshold tasks and lease expiration tasks. These tasks will be automatically generated if the following conditions are met:
Community inactivity threshold or community lease is enabled in a community policy.
The community policy is applied to a community.
The community inactivity threshold is reached or the community lease has expired.
As a community contact, you are responsible for managing the automatically generated community inactivity threshold tasks or community lease expiration tasks.
To view a task, click a task title. The View Details window appears. You can perform the following actions on the task:
For both community inactivity threshold tasks and community lease expiration tasks, you can request to delete the Viva Engage community. Follow the steps below:
Select a task and click Delete on the ribbon.
In the pop-up window, enter some comments for this task for further reference.
Click OK to confirm this action or click Cancel to return to the All Tasks interface without executing the task.
For a community inactivity threshold task, you can continue allowing access to the Viva Engage community and the corresponding Viva Engage community site. To request continued access, follow the steps below:
Select a task and click Continue Access on the ribbon.
In the pop-up window, click OK to confirm this action, or click Cancel to return to the All Tasks interface without executing the task.
For a community lease expiration task, you can extend the lease of the Viva Engage Community. To request a lease extension, follow the steps below:
Select a task and click Extend on the ribbon. A pop-up window appears.
The extended community lease period is displayed if your IT Admin has configured it. If allowed, you can define the extended community lease period.
Enter some comments for this task for further reference.
Click OK to confirm this action or click Cancel to return to the All Tasks interface without executing the task.
