#Manage Dynamic Membership Service Account Exclusion List

Your tenant may have Microsoft 365 service accounts configured in AvePoint Online Services. You can configure the Dynamic Membership Service Account Exclusion List to exclude Microsoft 365 service accounts from the dynamic membership rules. Dynamic membership allows users to define custom rules to add members dynamically to their Microsoft 365 Group or Microsoft Team. The accounts added to the list will keep their group or team membership regardless of the dynamic membership rules.

Complete the following steps to add service accounts to the exclusion list:

1. In Settings, click Dynamic Membership Service Account Exclusion List in the System group.

2. In the Dynamic Membership Service Account Exclusion List window, click Add.

3. In the Add window, select one or more Microsoft 365 service accounts.

4. Click Add on the ribbon to add the selected accounts to the list.

You can also click the delete button under the Action column to remove the added Microsoft 365 service account from the dynamic membership service account exclusion list.
