Export to PDFThe Public Site Collection Directory allows users to monitor business ownership and usage. Site collections with the built-in Publish to Directory metadata value Yes are considered as published site collections.
Note that the Public Site Collection Directory is not available in the classic Cloud Governance admin center, and it has not been transitioned to the modern interface. If your organization requires access to the classic Public Site Collection Directory, it will still be accessible via the following URLs:

You can filter, generate, and export the reports:
To filter and generate a public site collection directory report, complete the following steps:
Click Set Filter on the ribbon to customize the directory report. You can set filters for URL, Site Type, Site Collection Size, Status, Policy, Primary Site Collection Contact, Inactivity Threshold Date, Lease Period Expiration Date, and Created Time.
To set new filter rules, click Reset and the previous filter rules are cleared to the default ones.
Click Generate Report to retrieve data for your report. You can also click Export to Datasheet to export the report to a local path or an export location. For more information on exporting the report, refer to Export Reports.
To export the currently displayed directory report, click Export Report on the ribbon. For instructions on exporting the report, refer to Export Reports.
