#Configure the Delay Email Notification Delivery Setting

Use the delay email notification delivery setting to delay sending email notifications about the following AvePoint Cloud Governance tasks:

• Site collection lease expiration task

• Site collection inactivity threshold task

• Site collection quota threshold task

• Election task generated upon site collection contact deactivation

• Site collection renewal task

• Microsoft 365 Group/Microsoft Team renewal task

When the number of the cumulative email notifications to be sent out within the predefined time exceeds the threshold, the delayed email notifications will be blocked, and the IT Administrators will be notified to review the blocked email notifications.

To access the Delay Email Notification Delivery Setting, click Delay Email Notification Delivery Setting in the System group within Settings.

In the Delay Email Notification Delivery Setting window, select the Delay email notification delivery checkbox to enable the setting, and then complete the following steps:

1. Delay sending email notifications by _ hours – Define how long to delay the delivery of email notifications. Enter a number in the text box.

2. Define the condition to block email notification delivery. Enter a number in the text box as the threshold.

   • When the number of the cumulative email notifications to be sent out within the predefined time does not exceed the threshold, these email notifications will be delivered after the predefined time.

   • When the number of cumulative email notifications to be sent out within the predefined time exceeds the threshold, these email notifications will not be delivered.

3. Notify the following people when email notifications are blocked – Enter the names of one or more Microsoft 365 users or Microsoft 365 Groups who are IT administrators. The IT administrators will receive an email when the email notifications about tasks are blocked. The IT administrators can review all blocked email notifications in Settings > Monitoring Reports > Blocked Email Notifications.

4. Click Save to save the configurations and return to the Settings page or click Cancel to return to the Settings page without saving any configurations.
