No. AvePoint tyGraph is a SaaS only offering. Your existing tyGraph legacy product will continue to work as it does today. Existing customer-hosted environments will continue to receive updated Power BI reports as they do today.
Yes, self-hosted users will receive updates to Power BI reports and web parts. However, they will not receive new features such as web-based reports, benchmarking, and configuration management provided by AvePoint tyGraph.
Many new features including reports and configuration management are dependent on SaaS services only available in the AvePoint cloud. It’s not feasible to make these features available inside a self-hosted environment.
Yes. Existing self-hosted users may opt to migrate to AvePoint tyGraph. During this process, we will work with your IT teams to transfer over the Microsoft Entra ID resources to our subscription to complete the migration. At this point, AvePoint will host your data going forward.

We are expecting to make migrations for self-hosted users available in Q1 2025.
While we are no longer offering the self-hosted option to new customers, we have not announced any plans to discontinue support for existing self-hosted customers.
