#Migration to AvePoint tyGraph FAQs

We plan to begin offering migration to users in August 2024. Migrations will continue throughout 2024 and 2025. Migration will be performed in waves and our teams will reach out to you to coordinate a time for migration.

#When will existing users be able to migrate to AvePoint tyGraph?

We tentatively plan to start offering migration for legacy SaaS-hosted users in August 2024.

#Can our organization move to AvePoint tyGraph in an earlier (or later) wave?

Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Account Manager to make your request.

#Is there any downtime during migration?

No. We have planned migration to allow for tyGraph legacy and AvePoint tyGraph to run at the same time to ensure no data is lost during migration.

#How long is the validation period after migration?

We will provide a Validation Period of 14 days once your migration is complete. During this time, you can validate that the data in AvePoint tyGraph is valid. After 14 days, your tyGraph legacy data will be scheduled for deletion. If you need more than 14 days, please contact your Customer Success Manager or Account Manager to request more time.

#Our organization has customized reports in tyGraph Online, will it be in AvePoint tyGraph Embedded Reports?

We hope that many of these customization scenarios will be met with what is currently in the product and our new reports. If you want to keep an existing customized report, you will need to host it in your own Power BI environment.

#What if we don’t select a migration wave or respond?

We will make every attempt to find a suitable migration date that works with you. If you don’t respond, you will be migrated in the last migration wave at a final date to be determined.

#Does our organization need to wait for renewal to migrate to AvePoint tyGraph?

No. Once migrations are available, your organization can migrate in any available migration wave without it being tied to your renewal date.

#Will my existing custom reports work with AvePoint tyGraph?

Most likely, but only if you are hosting the reports in your organization’s Power BI environment. These existing reports can be updated to use the new credentials, and they should work as before.
