#Confirm Governance Details

Complete the following steps to confirm governance details of the site collection:

1. Contact – Review the current primary and/or secondary site collection contact to check whether they are still correct. You can perform the following actions on the site collection contact if necessary. Note that the primary contact and secondary contact cannot be the same person.

   • Edit secondary contact – To edit the secondary contact, complete the following steps:

     1. Click Change contact.

     2. In the Update secondary contact panel, enter the name of a user to be the secondary contact, and then click Save to save your configurations.

        You also can choose a contact from existing site collection administrators by clicking the add button, and the administrator you select will be the new secondary contact.

   • Add secondary contact – To add a new secondary contact, complete the following steps:

     1. Click Add secondary contact.

     2. In the Add secondary contact panel, enter the name of a user to be the secondary contact, and then click Save to save your configurations.

        You can also choose a contact from existing site collection administrators by clicking the add button, and the administrator you select will be the secondary contact.

   • Remove secondary contact – To remove the secondary contact, click the remove button.

   If you want to clear all the contact changes that you made, click Reset all.

   When you finish, click Continue to proceed.

2. Profiles – Select the renewal profile, external sharing profile, storage management profile, and/or contact election profile for the site collection.

   • Select a renewal profile – A renewal profile determines how frequently the site collection information is reviewed and confirmed.

   • Select an external sharing profile – An external sharing profile can enable unique guest access or external sharing settings for site collections.

   • Select a storage management profile – A storage management profile allocates storage for the site collection as well as sets the storage threshold.

   • Select a contact election profile – A contact election profile defines the automated contact election process when the original primary or secondary site collection contact is invalid.

   If you want to clear all the profile changes that you made, click Reset all.

   When you finish, click Continue to proceed.

3. Metadata – If there is metadata applied to the site collection, enter or select metadata values.

4. When you finish, click Submit.
