Export to PDFYour renewal experience may vary depending on your IT administrator’s configurations:
New landing page – If you see intake questions at the bottom of the page, you are on the new landing page. Refer to the New Landing Page section below for details.
When there are no available intake questions, the Start renewal button is displayed in the lower-right corner of the page.
Classic landing page – If you see the Renew Overview page with the Start renewal button displayed in the upper-right corner, you are on the classic landing page. Refer to the Classic Landing Page section below for details.
Contacts and users labeled as “Inactive” are those who have either been blocked from signing in or deleted from Microsoft 365.
Before starting the renewal process, you may see one or both of the following intake questions based on your IT administrator’s configurations:
Yes – You will proceed to the next intake question, or the renewal process will begin.
No – The I am not responsible for this task window appears and you may see one of the following contents based on your IT administrator’s configuration.
If your organization allows you to reassign or skip the task:
To reassign the task, choose I’m not the correct renewalassignee, but I know who is responsible for this renewal and specify the new assignee.
To skip the task, choose I'm not the correct renewalassignee, and I don't know who is responsible for this renewal.
Click OK to proceed.
If your IT administrator only allows you to skip the task, click OK in the confirmation window to skip the task.
If your IT administrator only allows you to reassign the task, specify the new assignee and click OK.
Cancel – This will exit the task without changes.
Yes – The renewal process will begin.
No – In the Delete this flow window, click Delete if you no longer require the flow.
Cancel – This will exit the task without changes.
While answering the intake questions, you can view the following flow information:
Primary contact
Secondary contact (if any)
Last active date
Last modified date
Last run date
Owners
External users
Connections
In the upper-right corner of the page, you can click View details to see additional flow details in the View details panel.
Before starting the Power Automate flow renewal process, you can:
View Flow Details– You can click View details below the flow name and view the flow’s detailed information in the View details panel.
Enable Reminder Later– Click Remind me later if you don’t want to renew the flow right now and want to enable a reminder. Then, the Reminder email window appears asking for your confirmation. Click OK, and a renewal task reminder email will be sent to you in 24 hours.
Confirm Details– You may reassign the renewal task if you are no longer responsible for the flow or request the flow to be deleted if you no longer need it. Based on your IT administrator’s configuration, you may see one or more of the following links below the page:
Delete this flow – Click this link if you want to delete this flow.
I am not responsible for this task – You may see one of the following contents based on your IT administrator’s configuration.
If your organization allows you to reassign and skip the task, choose Reassign task to and specify the assignee to reassign the task, or choose I'm not the correct renewal assignee, and I don't know who is responsible for this renewal to skip the task.
If your IT administrator only allows you to skip the task, click OK in the confirmation window to skip the task.
Reassign this task – Click this link, specify a new assignee, and click OK to reassign this task.
View Flow Ownership– You can view the flow ownership information in the Ownership area.
View User Statistics– You can view the following user statistics information in the User statistics area:
Owners – The number of owners and co-owners of the flow.
Run-only users – The number of run-only users of the flow.
Run-only users are only available for instant flows.
External users – The number of external users of the flow.
View Flow Activity and Connection Information– You can view the following flow activity and connection information in the Activity & connections area. You can click the number link below Connections to view the connection details.

Connections
To start the renewal process, click Start renewal.
