Cloud Backup for IaaS + PaaS now supports the following services:
VMware - Back up and restore workloads running in Azure VMware Solution (AVS) with full support for in place recovery, including VM settings and configurations. Protect AVS environments alongside native Azure VMs and M365 data for comprehensive cloud and hybrid protection.
SQL Server - Protect Microsoft SQL Server databases on Azure VMs and self-managed SQL Server databases with application consistent backups, fast incrementals, and point-in-time recovery. Restore to cloud or on-prem locations, keep data encrypted in transit and at rest, and simplify operations with automatic instance discovery and self service controls.
Google Cloud Storage - Protect your Google Cloud Storage buckets with automated, policy based backups and granular object recovery. Safeguard data from ransomware, accidental deletion, and corruption with immutable storage, flexible retention, and fast in-place restores, all managed from a single platform.
You can now use your own storage for backups of Virtual Machine, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps via SFTP or FTP.
