#Amazon EC2 Instance

Follow the instructions below to extract the protected data size for Amazon EC2 instances:

1. Make sure you have downloaded the script package. Extract the package to locate the script for Amazon EC2.

2. Go to AWS to launch the AWS CloudShell.

3. In the CloudShell window, execute the command lines from the Amazon EC2 script to check the protected data size for Amazon EC2 instances. For details on using the AWS CloudShell, refer to .

4. Upon execution, the protected size of each instance and disk and the total protected size will be listed.

   

5. To save the results, click Actions in the upper-right corner and then click Download File to download the output as a txt file.
