#Appendix Q – Guest User Statuses in Cloud Governance

When you monitor guest users managed by AvePoint Cloud Governance in a report in the Cloud Governance admin center, you will see various statuses of guest users, for example, Active, Blocked in Microsoft Entra, Renewal pending, etc. showing the specific stage of a guest user in the Cloud Governance management process. You can refer to the table below for a better understanding of each status.

Status of aGuest User	Description
Import processing()	The guest user is being imported to AvePoint Cloud Governance.
Import process completed with exception()	An error occurred during the import process of the guest user.
Active ()	The last renewal process of the guest user has been successfully completed, and the next renewal task has not been generated yet.No renewal profile has ever been applied to the guest user.
Blocked in Microsoft Entra ()	The guest user has been blocked from signing in to Microsoft Entra.
Blocked due to an overdue contact election task ()	A deactivated contact election task is overdue with escalation triggered, and the guest user is blocked from signing in to Microsoft Entra as the escalation action.
Blocked via a service request ()	The guest user is blocked from signing in to Microsoft Entra due to a service request submitted by a business user.
Deleted from Microsoft Entra ()	The guest user has been deleted from Microsoft Entra.
Blocked due to an overdue renewal process ()	A guest user renewal task is overdue with escalation triggered, and the guest user is blocked from signing in to Microsoft Entra as the escalation action.
Preparing renewal report ()	AvePoint Cloud Governance is generating the renewal task.
Renewal completed with exception ()	An error occurred while AvePoint Cloud Governance updated the guest user properties.
Renewal in progress
()	AvePoint Cloud Governance is updating the guest user properties based on the renewal results.
Renewal overdue ()	The renewal task of the guest user is overdue as the task assignee did not complete the renewal task within the duration.
Renewal pending ()	The renewal task of the guest user is pending to be completed by the renewal tasks assignee.
