Configure the following advanced service settings:

#Use Approval Process

To enable the approval process for this dynamic service, select an approval process as you need under the Approval process tab to add it to the service.

In the modern Cloud Governance admin center, you can configure approval processes in Management > Profiles & templates > Approval processes. For more instructions, refer to Configure Approval Processes.

In the classic Cloud Governance admin center, you can configure approval processes in Settings > Request management > Approval process. For more instructions, refer to Configure Approval Processes.

#Use Conditions

Using the condition control to specify different approval processes varies with the condition is true or false.

To define a condition on the Condition card, complete the following steps:

1. Select a dynamic content from the drop-down list, which is retrieved from what you’ve configured in the previous steps.

2. Define the condition to Equals, Equal to or greater than, Less than, No less than, No more than, Is, Contains value, Contains substring, Has the permission, Like, Not like, or Belongs to and then specify the condition value.

You can:

• Click the add button to add one or more conditions.

• Click Add condition to add more condition groups to create complex conditions.

• Use the And or Or button to define the logical order of multiple condition groups.

Cloud Governance provides the If yes and If no statements for the condition to check if the given condition is valid. You can click the add button to add the available approval process to the If yes and If no statements. The corresponding approval process that you defined in the If yes or If no statement will be performed depending on whether the condition is true or false.

#Use Switches

Using the switch control to specify different approval process varies with different values for the condition.

To define a switch on the Switch card, complete the following steps:

1. Select a condition from the Dynamic content drop-down list. The dynamic content is retrieved from what you’ve configured on the previous page.

2. Define the conditional value for Equals in a branch. If a condition obtains, the approval process configured in the corresponding branch will be performed. You can click the add button to add more branches for the switch.

   There is a Default branch. If no condition value is satisfied after validation in the request form, the approval process that you configured in the default branch will be performed.
