I would like to set a storage for the community site – With the option selected, specify a community site storage between 1 and 25600 GB. If you don’t allocate storage, the default storage will follow the storage setting in the SharePoint admin center.
A storage less than 25600 GB will take effect only if the site storage limit is enabled in your SharePoint admin center > Settings > Site storage limits > Manual.
Send a notification when site storage reaches the allocated storage – Choose whether to notify specific users when the community site storage reaches the specified threshold. With the option enabled, complete the following configurations:
Storage reaches – Enter a number in the text box to specify the storage threshold which will trigger a notification email.
Notification email recipients – Add users, groups (Microsoft 365 Groups, distribution groups, or mail-enabled security groups), or enter $ to select from the following user roles who will receive the notification emails: $Primary contact, $Secondary contact, $
Object admin, or $SharePoint Online Group.
$Object admin – Community/Team owners, Viva Engage community admins, or Site administrators.
$SharePoint Online Group (“$SiteName Community Name Suffix”) – Specify a SharePoint group, and users in the specified group can receive the notification emails. For site-specific groups, you can use the following format: $SiteName Group Name Suffix. Replace the Group Name Suffix with your desired value (i.e. Owners). The SiteName will be automatically replaced with the appropriate site title while sending the notification emails.
Email template – Select an email template that will be used to send the notification email.
