    Appendix Q – Guest User Statuses in Cloud Governance

    When you monitor guest users managed by AvePoint Cloud Governance in a report in the Cloud Governance admin center, you will see various statuses of guest users, for example, Active, Blocked in Microsoft Entra, Renewal pending, etc. showing the specific stage of a guest user in the Cloud Governance management process. You can refer to the table below for a better understanding of each status.

    Status of a Guest UserDescription
    Icon: The import processing phase.Import processingThe guest user is being imported to AvePoint Cloud Governance.
    Icon: The import process completed with exception phase.Import process completed with exceptionAn error occurred during the import process of the guest user.
    Icon: Active.ActiveThe last renewal process of the guest user has been successfully completed, and the next renewal task has not been generated yet; no renewal profile has ever been applied to the guest user.
    Icon: Blocked in Microsoft Entra.Blocked in Microsoft EntraThe guest user has been blocked from signing in to Microsoft Entra.
    Icon: Blocked due to an overdue contact election task.Blocked due to an overdue contact election taskA deactivated contact election task is overdue with escalation triggered, and the guest user is blocked from signing in to Microsoft Entra as the escalation action.
    Icon: Blocked via a service request.Blocked via a service requestThe guest user is blocked from signing in to Microsoft Entra due to a service request submitted by a business user.
    Icon: Deleted from Microsoft Entra.Deleted from Microsoft EntraThe guest user has been deleted from Microsoft Entra.
    Icon: Blocked due to an overdue renewal process.Blocked due to an overdue renewal processA guest user renewal task is overdue with escalation triggered, and the guest user is blocked from signing in to Microsoft Entra as the escalation action.
    Icon: Preparing renewal reportPreparing renewal reportAvePoint Cloud Governance is generating the renewal task.
    Icon: Renewal completed with exception.Renewal completed with exceptionAn error occurred while AvePoint Cloud Governance updated the guest user properties.
