Export to PDFFor your administration of Insights, Job Monitor allows you to view export tasks and action records. System Auditor and System Event pages are provided to track user activities and system events in Insights; View Notifications allows you to view notifications of specific system events. View Help and Resources provides some helpful resources and allows you to submit feedback for the product.
In the job monitor, there are two tabs.
In the Download center tab, export tasks in the last 90 days are listed in the table and sorted by Start time in descending order.
All export tasks are visible to administrators. Standard users can only view their own export tasks.
Name – The name of the report.
Status – The status of the export task.
For the Successful export task, you can click the Download button to download the permission/Access report.
For the Error export task, you can view details about the failure by clicking the Error status link.
For the In progress export task, the status will be refreshed every 10 seconds.
For the Waiting scheduled export task, the export will be started after being checked, and a previous export has been completed. You can click the status to view more information.
For the Finished with exception export task, you can click the Download button to download the successful permission/Access report and View details about the failure in the export by clicking the status link.
For the Terminated export task, you can click the Download button to export the report that had been exported before the export task was terminated. If the export task was terminated before it starts or no report was exported before the termination, there will be no report available for downloading.
Start time – The time when the export task started processing.
Finish time – The time when the export task ended processing.
User – The user who started the export task.
Expiration date – The expiration date of the export task. An export task will expire after 3 months. When an export task is going to be expired, the expiration date will be highlighted in orange 7 days in advance. Expired export task will be automatically removed from Download center.
You can terminate export tasks by selecting one or multiple export tasks and clicking Terminate above the table. Once terminated, the export tasks cannot be restarted anymore.
Only the export tasks that are waiting for export and in progress can be terminated.
Click Refresh above the table to refresh the export tasks list. You can filter the listed export tasks by clicking Filter in the upper-right corner of the table.
In the Action tracker tab, all action records in the last 90 days are listed in the table and sorted by Start time in descending order.
All action records are visible to administrators. Standard users can only view their own action records.
Object – The name of the object in the action. Click the name to view details in the panel on the right.
Action – The action that is taken.
Operator – The user who triggered this action.
Status – The status of the action.
Start time – The time when the action is started.
Finish time – The time when the action is finished.
Click Refresh above the table to refresh the action records. You can filter the listed action records by clicking Filter in the upper-right corner of the table.
The System auditor page lists the activities of all users in your tenant within Insights.
Only the audit data of user activities in the retention period can be viewed. For details on how to configure the retention period, refer to Export the User Activity Report.
Click Filter in the upper-right corner, and the Filter window appears. You can select desired options from the Detected time, Module, Event, Status, and/or IP address filter drop-down lists, and click Filter to only display the activities that meet the conditions you configured. You can also click Clear all to clear all filter conditions you configured.
Click Refresh in the upper-left corner of the page to refresh user activities listed in the table.
Click the link in the Event column of a user activity to view additional information about the user activity in the Details pane.
The System event page lists system events of Insights in the table.
Name – The name of the system event.
Type – The system event type: Information, Warning, or Error.
Detected time – The time when the event is detected.
Details – The detailed information of the system event.
Click Refresh in the upper-left corner of the page to refresh the events listed in the table.
Click Filter, and the Filter window appears. You can select desired options from the Name, Type, and/or Detected time filter drop-down lists, and click Filter to only display the events that meet the conditions you configured. You can also click Clear all to clear all filter conditions you configured.
You can view notifications of Warning and Error types of system events in the Notification window by clicking the Notification button in the upper-right corner of any page. When you have new notifications that are unread, a blue point will be displayed in the upper-right corner of the Notification button.
Clicking the System event link redirects you to the System Event page.
To invite support, submit feedback, access the user guide, view what’s new in this release, view helpful resources, and view information about AvePoint, click Help &Resources on the left navigation.
For help using Insights, you can invite a member of AvePoint Support to access your Insights environment to help troubleshoot. To do this, click Invite support under Help & Resources on the left navigation. You will be directed to the Invite support panel in AvePoint Online Services. Refer to Invite Support for instructions.

Click Help & Resources on the left navigation and then click Submit feedback. The Submit feedback page of AvePoint Online Services appears in a new tab.
The Insights service type is selected automatically.
Select a feedback type.
Enter additional details about your feedback in the Tell us more details textbox.
Click Submit to submit your feedback to AvePoint.
In the left navigation, you can view Help & Resources under System. Click it and click Resources to access the Resources page. On this page, you can view some helpful resources.

You can click the Sample data link to view the functions offered by Insights using the sample data we provide. Note that sample data is unavailable for standard users, and some actions are not supported against sample data. Clicking Real data at the bottom will bring you back to your own tenants.
