- IT administrators can now configure site collection storage management profiles in **Management** > **Profiles & templates** > **Storage management profiles**. They can allocate storage for the site collection as well as set the storage threshold in the profile.
- IT administrators can now configure site collection external sharing profiles in **Management** > **Profiles & templates** > **External sharing profiles**. They can configure unique external sharing settings for site collections in the profile. Site collections with the profile applied can have more restrictive settings than the global configurations in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- When configuring automatic import profiles for Yammer communities in **Management** > **Profiles** **&** **templates** > **Automatic import profiles**, IT administrators can now choose one of the following automatic import methods to determine how to confirm imported Yammer communities’ governance details:
- **Predefine governance details**
- **Require end user confirmation**
- When enabling workspace contact membership management in **Settings** > **System settings** > **Contact membership**, IT administrators can now choose to automatically add both original and new workspace contacts to a specific group.
- When configuring a dynamic service in **Management** > **Dynamic services**, IT administrators can now add a Create site collection service and configure the corresponding settings for the service.
- IT administrators can now configure automated escalation profiles for Yammer communities in **Management** > **Profiles & templates** > **Automated escalation profiles**. With the escalation profile applied to a Yammer community, when the governance details confirmation task for the automatic import process is not completed within the specified time, the escalation action configured in the profile will be executed.
- When configuring the **Hub site settings** in a Create site collection service or Create team service in **Management** > **Dynamic services**, IT administrators can choose to register the site as a hub site or associate the site with a hub site.
When they choose to associate the site with a hub site, they can use all existing hub sites to be available for association or define a set of existing hub sites to be available for association. They can also choose to **Only display hub sites that the requester has** **permission**.
- There is now a **Last sync time** column in the **Workspace report**, displaying the last time of running the workspace information synchronization job.
- When configuring the **Navigation menu and Teams app tabs management** in **Settings** > **System settings**, IT administrators can now decide whether to show the following items on the Cloud Governance Portal navigation menu or Teams app tab. Turn on the toggle to show an item or turn off the toggle to hide an item under the **Shown** column:
- **My guest users**
- **Start a request**
- **Hubs**
- **Workspaces**
- When configuring the team storage management profiles in **Management** > **Profiles** **&** **templates** > **Storage management profiles**, IT administrators can now choose whether to send the notification email when the group team site storage reaches a specific percentage of the storage or not. It’s now an optional setting.
- When adding metadata in an Invite new guest user service, Guest user automatic import profile, or Yammer community automatic import profile, IT administrators can now modify the value of metadata added to the list and decide how to set the metadata value.
- When the approvers complete the team renewal task generated based on the team renewal profile defined in **Management** > **Profiles & templates** in the new Cloud Governance admin center, they can now export the renewal audit report to view the detailed renewal changes before they approve or reject the task.
- In **Directory** > **Workspace report**, workspace’s external sharing settings shown for both the **External sharing for group/team** and **External sharing for site** columns in the report are retrieved from external sharing settings configured in Microsoft 365.
- In **Directory** > **Workspace report**, both the changed renewal options and unchanged renewal options completed by the renewal task assignee will be shown in separate records in the **Timeline**.
- With the escalation enabled for the overdue guest user renewal task, when the renewal task is overdue, and the guest user is removed or blocked by escalation, no new renewal tasks will be generated anymore.
- Users of Insights for Microsoft 365 can now use metadata that they configured and applied in AvePoint Cloud Governance to filter site collections in Risk Analysis Overview reports in Insights for Microsoft 365.
- If an organization uses Cloud Governance for U.S. Government and uses Microsoft 365 U.S. Government GCC High environment, the following updates will be available on the general availability date for the U.S. Government environment:
- The sign-in address for the Cloud Governance portal will be updated to [https://myhub.gov.avepointonlineservices.com](https://myhub.gov.avepointonlineservices.com).
When users click the previous sign-in address ([https://myhub-gcc.avepointonlineservices.com](https://myhub-gcc.avepointonlineservices.com)), they will be automatically redirected to the new address above.
- IT administrator can configure the MyHub Teams app by uploading the app package to the tenant apps catalog.
- When configuring the **Change Group/Team Assignment Settings** or **Change Community Assignment Settings** in a Change Group/Team/Community Settings service, if IT administrators allow requesters to change dynamic membership rules and rule values, they can now choose whether to **Restrict and predefine the dynamic membership rules that requesters can add**. With the option selected, they need to predefine one or more dynamic membership rules that are available to be configured in the request form.
When configuring the **Group/Team Members** or **Community Members** in a Create Group/Team/Community service, if IT administrators choose to **Define rules to get community members dynamically** and **Allow requesters to add or remove dynamic rules**, they can now choose to **Only allow requesters to add rules predefined in the list above**. With the option enabled, IT administrators must add at least one rule, and requesters can only add rules predefined in the service.
- When configuring the dynamic membership rules in a Create Group/Team/Community service or Change Group/Team/Community service, if IT administrators choose **Group Assignment** as the rule and **Belongs To** as the condition, they can enter multiple values for the rule.
- With automated team archiving enabled for an overdue group/team renewal task as an escalation, when the renewal task is overdue, and the team is archived by escalation, no new renewal tasks will be generated anymore.
- When IT administrators only choose to **Enable Microsoft Teams** > **Enable Microsoft Teams for Microsoft 365 Group** in a Change Group/Team Settings service, business users can only specify a group in the request to enable Microsoft Teams for Microsoft 365 Group using this service.
- When the group/team inactivity threshold task is overdue, and the group/team deletion task is generated as the escalation, if the deletion is rejected by the approver, a new inactivity threshold task will be generated for the renewal task assignee to complete.
- When the renewal task assignee completes the team renewal task and chooses to archive or delete the team, a team deletion task or team archiving task will be generated. If the approver rejects the task and requires the renewal task assignee to submit renewal again, a new team renewal task will be generated and assigned to the renewal task assignee to complete.
When a team renewal task is overdue, and an automated team deletion task is generated as an escalation action:
- If the deletion task is manually canceled or deleted in the **Requests** report, a new team renewal task will be generated and assigned to the renewal task assignee to complete.
- If the deletion approval task is not completed within the duration specified in the approval process and is rejected as an escalation action, a new renewal task will be generated and assigned to the renewal task assignee to complete.
> ***Note**: The improvements are available for team renewal tasks generated based on the team renewal profiles configured in **Management** > **Profiles & templates** in the new Cloud Governance admin center:
- In a request, with a custom action configured in the service as the switch or condition, business users must click **Continue** to execute the custom action.
If business users are required to enter the library URL in a Create library request, the parent site URL will be displayed as read-only in the request.
> ***Note**: The improvements are available for requests generated based on dynamic services configured in **Management** > **Dynamic services** in the new Cloud Governance admin center.
In previous versions, users have already been able to submit AvePoint Cloud Governance service requests within ServiceNow by invoking Cloud Governance modern APIs.
Cloud Governance now newly provides sample scripts for the following service types:
- Team Lifecycle Management service
- Site Collection Lifecycle Management service
- Create Site Collection service
- Change Site Collection Settings service
